Jenny began her healing journey in 2012 when she moved from her native home of Denver, Colorado to Maui, Hawaii. On Maui she fully immersed herself into yoga, meditation and a holistic lifestyle. In 2013 she graduated from Maui Academy of Healing Arts with her Massage Therapy License and a deep knowledge of Hawaiian healing. Later in 2018 she completed her 300 hr Yoga Teacher Training with Mangala Yoga. Shortly after Jenny found a love for Vipassana meditation and began dedicating time for multiple 10 and 30 day silent meditation retreats.
Working as the lead massage therapist at one of Maui’s top luxury retreat centers for 5 years, Jenny was able to gain hands-on experience guiding a team of healers and learning the ins and outs of top tier retreats. In her own practice she continued expanding her modalities to include Zero Balancing, Reflexology, Sports Massage, Ashiatsu Deep Feet Bar Therapy, Neuromuscular, Prenatal and Mayan Abdominal massage, as well as fine tuning her Temple Style Lomi Lomi and Deep Tissue.
In her yoga classes she found a deep way of connecting with her students by incorporating massage and energy healing in yin yoga postures.
After moving back to Colorado in 2019, Jenny launched her dream of owning 420 friendly Airbnbs. Currently she owns and manages 3 properties that all embrace Cannabis lovers in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado, and is a proud Superhost 4 years running!! After offering massage and creating an expansive spa menu for one of Colorado's top health spas, Luna Float Spa, Jenny took a break to spend time with her new daughter Bell. During her postpartum she began teaching Restorative yoga, and currently teaches privately and at CorePower Yoga. Jenny also offers massage from her home in downtown Colorado Springs, and runs her thriving Airbnb's, while also making jewelry in her spare time. When she is not chasing around her toddler you can find her cooking in the kitchen, hiking, practicing hot yoga, or making jewelry. Jenny firmly believes in the healing power of plant medicine and has first hand discovered how it has beautifully enhanced both her meditation and yoga practice.
Dr. Galya received her Masters and Doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) & Herbology from Pacific College of Health and Sciences, and has been in the study of medicine, plants, psychology, quantum physics, epigenetics, and trauma healing for most of her career. In addition, she has deeply studied the Dr. Usui Reiki lineage. Her work consists of blending Japanese and Chinese needle techniques, Reiki energy work, crystal therapy, guided meditations, and sound healing. Since graduating, Galya has been a nomadic traveling Doctor, and has managed and facilitated numerous meditation and healing retreats, and offered workshops at festivals, as well as private and corporate events in NYC, Los Angeles, San Diego, Maui, Oregon, Colorado, and Costa Rica.
Dr. Galya has been utilizing cannabis as a medicine for years, and has worked closely with the plant to understand the nuanced ways it can offer medical benefits through the cannabinoid system. From oils and salves, to tinctures and edibles, and of course, the plethora of flower variety, there truly is so much to receive from this incredible plant! Dr.Galya has worked with cancer and post-op patients utilizing this plant to alleviate pain and nausea, balance the emotions, reset the nervous system, and realign the heart and mind.
Having sat in multiple 10-day and 30-day silent meditation retreats, Dr. Galya appreciates the potent art of mindfulness and the profound act of stillness. Dr. Galya believes that all healing involves the mind, body, and spirit, and therefore loves the multitude of benefits inherent in the practice of Yoga-particularly the slow discipline of Jenny’s meditative Yin Restorative flow.
A true lover of nature and play, Galya loves to explore new places and meet new people wherever life takes her- which is everywhere! As a nomadic Doctor, Galya has traveled around the country and the globe teaching, serving, healing, studying, and always, learning and growing.
